Early Literacy Program

The Early Literacy Program looks forward to a new year of regularly scheduled story times, special events, and exciting guests sure to delight our youngest patrons!

We offer 3 weekly Storytimes: Tuesdays and Fridays @ 10am, and Wednesdays @ 9am.

Join us during weekly programs, and check out our Facebook page and website for upcoming visits from Tanglewood Nature Center, Corning Science and Discovery Center, Museum of the Earth, Lisa Fernandez Song and Story, and more! Our program has something to offer all ages, focusing on Early Literacy through song, stories, play, crafts, and other activities. Our children’s collection offers a diverse assortment of materials for all, from birth to school-aged children.

Toddler Storytime (September through May)
Every Tuesday 10:00AM
Join us for an hour of stories and play for curious young minds. Make friends and learn something new. Open to all ages.

Infant Storytime
Every Wednesday 9:00AM
We sing, dance, and read with newborns and siblings and share information and resources for parents. Open to all ages.

Preschool Storytime 
Every Friday 10:00AM
We will bring our stories to life with puppets, go ABC fishing, create art, and more! Open to all ages.

Blankets and Books Summer Program (June through August)
Tuesdays 10:00AM @ Havana Glen Park
Join us for an hour of song and story surrounded by nature at beautiful Havana Glen. All age groups and siblings welcome!
