At 10:30 am, join our early literacy program for Stories from Many Times, Many Lands, told by Beauty and the Beast Storytellers. Mitch and Martha bring to life traditional folktales from around the world, works by contemporary authors, stories from their own experiences, and tales based on historical people and events. Free and open to the public.

August 22: Tanglewood Nature Center presents Animal Builders

At 10:30 am at Havana Glen Park, join our early literacy program for a presentation from Tanglewood Nature Center on Animal Builders: Birds, Bees, and Burrows. How do the animals that live around us interact with the natural world and the man-made world? While humans alter their environment, see how these animals live with their environment by building their own homes. Learn about the animals that keep our environment alive and diverse and also how they live and how we can protect their habitats. With live animals and hands-on materials. For all ages. Free and open to the public.
