Early Literacy & Children’s Library

Friday, September 23 • 10am Tanglewood Nature Center presents their Birds of Prey program. Check out our books and DVDs about different kinds of birds! All ages are welcome. No registration required. Free!

The Rouletta Blowers Gasparian Early Literacy Program supports infants through school-aged children. We have resumed in-person Storytime as of March 15, 2022. Please respect that masks are recommended but not required.

Our programs have something to offer all ages, focusing on Early Literacy through song, stories, play, crafts, and other activities. Our children’s collection offers a diverse assortment of materials for all. You can find both new and old favorites of board books, picture books, and nonfiction picture books in our Children’s Room.

Join us for an hour of song and story surrounded by nature at beautiful Havana Glen. Keep an eye out for special quests and activities! All age groups, family members, and siblings are welcome.

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten This is a program you can participate in right from home and promotes reading to newborns, infants, and toddlers. It also encourages the development of the parent-child bond through reading.
