Book and item donations are by appointment only at this time. Please reach out with the number of boxes/bags you have, what type of books/items, and their approximate age and condition before dropping off.
Providing this information will help us determine if we can accept the items and when.

PLEASE DO NOT leave donations on the porch, ramp, or in the bookdrop. Staff and volunteers need to know when to expect items and what they are so they can process them appropriately. Leaving items outside can expose them to extreme weather conditions and could damage them beyond use.
Item Donation Guidelines
Donations of books, DVDs or Blu-ray, video games, and new magazines (no older than 4 months), can be delivered by appointment. Please confirm open hours before delivery and do not leave items on the porch or in the bookdrop.
Staff may sort items before you leave and the remaining items will be sent with you.
Items need to be clean and free of pests or insects, dust, cobwebs, debris, and stickers that are not relevant to the item.
Discs need to be residue-free, scratch-free, and playable; cases need to be clean.
Items are subject to the same criteria as the library’s purchasing and collection management. Material that is not added to the collection will be added to our Book Sale or Adopt-A-Book carts, offered to other organizations, recycled, or upcycled.
Pack items into sturdy, clean boxes, bags, or totes that are easy and safe to carry. Remember, staff will be moving items up/down stairs and lifting items above their head. If the box or bag is too big or heavy to easily do those tasks, please repack the items. Let staff know if you may need help upon delivery.
