The Montour Falls Memorial Library is excited to announce new EXTENDED HOURS!
The Montour Falls Library will now be open until 7 pm on Fridays.
The library closes for federal holidays in addition to when the Odessa-Montour Central School District closes due to poor weather or travel conditions. See our website for expected closed dates, as well as our social media pages for unexpected closure announcements.

Join us for a special book club at any Schuyler Library!

FREE copies of this book are available to the first 10 registrants at each library!

Sunset in the Stacks • Fridays, 5-7 PM
Pull up to the library and vibe! We’ve got snacks, creative projects, fidgets, and a cozy space to just hang out with your bros. No pressure, no judgement, no agenda – just good energy. Come thru and make it your after-school Friday night spot!

Evening Winter Storytime • Wednesdays at 6pm
Storytimes are geared toward ages 0-8 and are followed by an art project or other themed activity.
When winter days get chilly, it’s the perfect time to cuddle up with cozy stories! Bring your little one for an evening of gentle books and a calm wind-down to bedtime as we rest and relax while embracing winter. Pajamas welcome!

Introducing kids to books and the magic of language early on is like giving them a superpower for vocabulary, understanding others, and expressing themselves!

Saturday Night Pride
Saturday, January 31st • 6-8pm
Montour Falls Library and Dutton S. Peterson Memorial Library are hosting Saturday Night PRIDE, a monthly social group for 2SLGBTQIA+ Youth and Allies ages 13-18. No registration is required.
This event is funded largely by the Foundation for Southern Tier Libraries and with support from SoFLX Pride.

Introduction to Dungeons & Dragons • January 3rd & 17th 1:30-2:30 pm
First and Third Saturdays unless otherwise noted.
Now for ages 13+ ! Premade characters – just drop in! You are welcome to stay until the library closes at 3pm. We thank you for your consideration to our staff and their duties!
